A pedestrian hit by a car in Farnham town centre last week has been released from hospital, say police.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident in Long Bridge at around 9.50am on Monday, November 13.

A police spokesman confirmed this week an investigation into the crash remains ongoing and "no arrests have been made at this time".

They added: "The pedestrian has since been released from hospital and is recovering at home."

Long Bridge was closed between the Union Road/Downing Street junction and Firgrove Hill for around six hours after the collision involving a red Honda Jazz.
