A SEVENTEEN year old girl was flashed and sexually assaulted by a group of boys on a riverside path in Farnham last Wednesday (February 23).

Police say the girl was walking along Borelli Walk, alongside the River Wey between Gostrey Meadow and Farnham Leisure Centre, when she was approached by a group of three or four boys at around 5.30pm.

One of the boys exposed himself before sexually assaulting her. The girl managed to get away and continue walking.

The boy is described as Asian, aged 17 to 18 years old, around 5ft 9 in height with shortish black hair. He was wearing a light coloured puffa jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.

PC Davina Smith said: “This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and absolutely will not be tolerated. We urge anyone who may have seen the suspects or know who they are to contact us straightaway. We must hold the suspects to account for their inexcusable behaviour.
