Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary at Mount Pleasant Road in Alton between 8.25pm and 8.45pm on April 5.

It was reported that a person tried to enter the property by damaging a rear conservatory door and smashing a pane of glass. Nothing was stolen.
