AS part of this year’s Hampshire Food Festival, the Blackmoor Estate offered free tours of its cherry orchard and hosted a cherry market.
The open day, on July 24, was an opportunity for visitors to learn how cherries are grown and harvested, and how farming is integrated with the conservation of the broader landscape, during a tour of Hampshire’s largest cherry orchard.
Eight different varieties were available to sample and buy at the cherry market.
The day ran as part of the Hampshire Food Festival 2016.
The July festival involved more than 70 food and farming events across the county.
