Goldfinch Books in Alton recently hosted the launch of John Jacobs’ latest book Travels With High Frequency.

John, a long-time resident of Alton, was there in person to sign copies and to chat through what the book is all about.

A Goldfinch Books spokesperson said: “Taking in the geography of many countries around the globe, as John travelled the world as a communications engineer, it is a book filled with true stories, human stories. 

“There is humour and sadness, camaraderie and conflict, adventures and fear. It makes for a pacy and thoughtful read.”
