A mural created by artist Flossy Waters as a present from Printy Banana gift shop owner Riana Gallagher adorns the children’s waiting area at The Wilson Practice in Alton.

Ríana saw how blank and empty the area was since Covid removed its books and toys. She said: “Seeing the empty children’s area felt incredibly sad and I wanted to help.”

Flossy offered to co-sponsor the mural – which features ten animals – with the shop.

She said: “I really connected with the idea of painting something immersive that was interactive and playful enough to stand in for lost toys.”

Practice manager Rachael Sowerby said: “The mural is looking absolutely wonderful.”
