TURNING Bordon into an eco-town is the biggest development East Hampshire District Council has ever tackled, and the feedback from residents, now the consultation process has ended, is being "carefully analysed" before being passed to the master planners who have set an autumn date to unveil their proposals.
If the masterplan gets the thumbs up, for what the district council is calling its Green Town Vision, it could open the floodgates to applications from developers and new businesses which, said district councillor Ian Dowdle, have been "on hold" for five years waiting for it to approved.
