TWO site managers working in Bordon were judged among the best in the country in a national competition.
Phil Crips and Jon Fuge picked up Pride In The Job awards from the National House Building Council. The awards recognise the best-run sites and are “the highest industry accolade a site manager can achieve”.
For Mr Crips it marked the sixth time he had picked up the award - this time for his work at Barratt Homes’ New Quarter housing development at the former Louisburg Barracks. The second award went to David Wilson Homes’ site manager Mr Fuge, who is overseeing work at Louisburg’s Heritage Quarter housing.
Tim Hill, regional managing director of Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, said the awards “demonstrate the high standards that we demand as a company and showcase excellence in housebuilding”.
Barratt Developments, which includes Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes won 74 awards in total - more than any other housebuilder.
