ALTON Concert Band plan to follow up their previous successful concert Around the World in 80 Minutes with another evening of “feet-tapping” musical entertainment, supported by the Alton College Jazz Band.

The band returns to the Alton Maltings Centre on Saturday to conjure up ‘A Night at the Movies’.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and a share of the proceeds from the Maltings Centre event will be given to the Alton Town Mayor’s Fund.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from band members, Newbury Building Society on Alton High Street, or on the door.
