The building was previously used for social and sporting activities as well as community events, and the regeneration company, which is developing Prince Philip Barracks in Bordon, hopes the newly decorated rooms and areas will encourage new businesses and groups to take up space there.
Mustangs has access for disabled people and prams, as well as onsite parking and provides a secure environment, the Regeneration Company says.
It provides ideal spaces for parties, exercise classes, health and beauty therapies, community events and businesses, according to the Regeneration Company.
The space includes two large halls with access to kitchen facilities and a non-pumped bar, various smaller rooms and an outside courtyard with barbecue.
Mustangs is overseen by facilities manager Sharon Wood, who is inviting businesses, clubs and groups to speak to her about the available space and to arrange a viewing.
She said: “It is great to breathe new life into this former military building, which was well used for many years.
“It is important that spaces like this continue to play a key role in the local community, as it continues to evolve and develop under the regeneration project. We currently hold Zumba classes on site, but there is plenty of room for many more activities and services to be held here and I look forward to hearing from those looking to find out more.”
