THE village of Headley invited people in through the garden gate at the weekend.
The return of the open gardens event last Saturday and Sunday saw visitors enjoy the hard work and green-fingered dedication of Headley residents who’ had created gardens good enough to share.
Co-orgainser Christine Leonard said the weekend went “extremely well”.
“We were very fortunate with weather,” she added.
Although funds are still being collated, it is estimated the events raised around £4,500.
All proceeds from the days will be split between the British Red Cross and Headley’s parish church of All Saints.
