PUPILS at Bordon Jun-ior School have raised nearly £2,000 for the NSPCC thanks to their efforts during The Big Walk.
The Big Walk format was created by the school's team of young governors and formed part of the NSPCC's Big Workout - a national scheme for schools and clubs to raise funds for the children's charity through sponsored sports events.
All pupils walked a set course for a period of 30 minutes with the opportunity to gain bonus points by visiting the variety of NSPCC stops around the track, with various activities organised and run by the young governors.
They also welcomed pupils from neighbouring Bordon Infant School to take part in their walk.
