WITH numbers growing and 30 new pupils starting in its reception year, The Holme Primary School in Headley decided it would need a bigger classroom, so the simple solution was to knock down the wall between two existing classrooms.

The work took place over the summer holidays and the “big classroom” was ready to welcome the school’s newest pupils at the start of term.

A school spokesman said: “Since we became an academy our numbers have grown and we now have pupils coming from Aldershot and Alton, so we realised it would be better to create one big classroom for them and it is working well.”
