The number of reported crimes in Bordon rose by more than 120 per cent over the first half of 2025 to its highest level for more than a year.

Some 129 crimes were reported during June compared to 58 in December 2024 and just 39 in February.

That equates to a rise of 230 per cent in just four months with the figure also beating the previous high of 119 set the month before.

Sixty of the crimes reported involved violence or sexual offences with anti-social behaviour (20), criminal damage (9) and public order (8) being the next most frequent.
