The potentially life-saving kit aims to provide immediate support to people with severe bleeding while paramedics are on their way.
The council said it was pleased to see the community safety resource installed and hoped it would reassure both residents and visitors after calls were made for more in the area.
Bleed control kits are increasingly being introduced in public places across the UK to improve emergency response times and improve the chances of survival following traumatic injuries for incidents such as road traffic collisions.
