LINDFORD farming couple George and Chantelle Watt have lost an appeal against East Hampshire District Council after being refused permission to build a farm shop, office and cafe on land at Safety Auto's Recovery Ltd to serve the Broxhead Trading Estate.

The farm shop would have sold products from Mr and Mrs Watt's Highland Farm, accessed via the industrial estate.

The couple did at one time get permission to build an office and cafe on the site, but this has expired.
