Children at Bordon Infant School had an amazing day on May 5 to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

Pupils and staff came to school in their finest red, white and blue clothes fit for a coronation, and the children planted bulbs and shrubs for the King in the grounds.

After the children completed coronation activities with their parents, the young governors from Year 1 and Year 2 chose the best home-made cakes for a coronation afternoon tea on the school field. Assistant headteacher Anne-Marie Kennedy said: “The children were spoilt for choice with all the gorgeous cakes!”
