TWO Bordon schools look set to expand as the town’s population continues to grow.

Plans to expand both Bordon Infant School and Junior School have been backed by East Hampshire District Council.

Extensions will be added to the eastern and northern corners of the schools, respectively, while the number of parking spaces will be increased from 45 to 58. The latter will take the place of a play area so a new Multi-Use Games Area will be constructed.

The extensions will increase the capacities of both schools with places in the infants rising from 180 to 240, and from 270 to 360 in the junior school.
