THIS year’s renewal of the popular Kingsley Centre charity bridge lunch raised more than £500 for the centre.

Players on 11 tables of four enjoyed a morning’s bridge followed by lunch, and then it was back to the tables for more. Top scores were awarded prizes by Maureen Briggs, and a raffle was also drawn.

Organiser Jill Trout thanked all those who attended to support the Kingsley organisation’s work at the village centre.

The next bridge day is in June.
