Bordon food bank received a cheque for £3,189.50 from the agency giving fund – and has already put the money to good use.
NFU Mutual Alton agency customer service adviser and social media co-ordinator Bronwyn Ford said: “Thank you to Bordon food bank for everything you are doing to support our community.
“Our agent, Richard Buer, went to visit the food bank to learn about the day-to-day and to also find out how our donation would be used.
“The Bordon food bank has purchased two new freezers – which the majority of our donation will contribute to, among other things – meaning the local community can have fresh and frozen produce included in their weekly packs, which is just fantastic.
“We are so pleased to be able to donate to such a worthy cause. Keep up the fantastic work.”
