An East Hampshire firm which offers high-quality GDPR training and business development courses will compete in the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship”.

Ensurety has been named a finalist in the 2024 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Liss firm has been shortlisted in the Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year category in an awards event that “celebrates the most exceptional and inspiring business stories across the UK.”

The firm founded by Keith Budden is in good company as past winners include the founders of BrewDog, ClearScore, Zilch and Unbiased.

Mr Budden is “absolutely thrilled” his firm, which offers “high-quality e-learning and in-house training courses for any sized businesses” has been named a finalist.

He added: “It’s an incredible honour to be recognised alongside some of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious businesses.

“This recognition is a huge testament to the hard work of our team and our mission to simplify compliance to build trust. We are empowering businesses to protect data, meet regulations, and grow with confidence, while maintaining our ‘keep it fun’ approach because if it’s fun it gets done, if it’s a bore it’s a chore.”

Frankie James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, added: “We’re so proud to reveal this year’s shortlist.

“The quality of entries gets stronger every year, and it’s clear that the entrepreneurial spirit in the UK is more alive than ever.

“Many of our finalists go on to become household names, and we can’t wait to watch what this year’s cohort achieves next.”

Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on November 157 where more than 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders will gather in London’s Grosvenor House.
