BOSSES at Squire’s Garden Centre in Frensham have decided to support Phyllis Tuckwell as their charity of the year’ for 2018/19.

Farnham-based Phyllis Tuckwell is the only hospice care service for adult patients, and their families, across the whole of west Surrey and part of north-east Hampshire. They help manage pain and improve the quality of life for both the patient and their family.

Squire’s will raise awareness of Phyllis Tuckwell in its garden centre, as well as providing ongoing fundraising from collection boxes, events, and its annual Christmas grotto.

Sarah Squire, deputy chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, which also has a centre in Badshot Lea, said; “We are delighted to support Phyllis Tuckwell, a charity chosen by colleagues at Squire’s in Frensham.

“Our Christmas grottos alone raised more than £21,000 for our chosen charities last year, so I hope that we will be able to repeat this success again this year.

“All of our centres are really looking forward to working with their chosen charity, and supporting their wonderful work in the local community.”
