A FAR-reaching and bold plan to provide more help to people desperately in need of help and advice has been launched by the Citizens Advice Bureaux.

East Hampshire Citizens Advice Centres (CAB) in

Alton, Bordon and Petersfield as well as outreach

areas of Liphook and Horndean and the CAB's

neighbouring branch at Havant are to join together

with other advice services across the area to find a new and more proactive way to help an ever growing numbers of clients in trouble.

The news comes after the local CAB scooped a massive £340,000 from lottery funding which is set to radically reform the service as we know it over the next two years, helped both by new technology and collaboration with other partners who deliver similar or related services to the CAB.
