HOMES and businesses in Hampshire are being encouraged to sign up for superfast broadband.
This comes as part of a national campaign to raise awareness of the benefits faster internet speeds can bring.
Superfast Broadband is already in 78 per cent of the UK. This total is growing all the time and here, in Hampshire, the programme funded by the county council and its partners has made faster internet speeds available to more than 26,000 extra homes and businesses over the last 12 months.
But latest figures show that many people are not aware whether they can get Superfast Broadband where they live, or know what they need to do to take up the service.
