THE charity Crohn’s & Colitis UK launched its Walk It campaign in London on June 4.
The programme of walks nationwide aimed to raise awareness and funds for inflammatory bowel disease - a condition that affects more than 300,000 people in the UK.
Nicole Crawford, from Bordon, who was diagnosed with Crohn’s at the age of 18, took part in Walk It and said: “The walk was fantastic. My husband, myself and my five children all took part and have raised £303 so far.”
The London walks (5km and 10km) started at Victoria Embankment Gardens and took in the sights of London.
