The people of Whitehill, Bordon and Lindford re-elected Liberal Democrat Adam Carew at Thursday's county council election, while Headley voters again chose Tory Sam James.

The Conservatives won 51 of the 78 seats up for grabs, from the Liberal Democrats, who won the approval of voters in 25 of them and Labour, which won a single seat, along with the Community Campaign, which was successful in Hart.
