FOLLOWING a campaign by Whitehill and Bordon county councillor Adam Carew, a new pavement is being built along the west side of Hogmoor Road, in Whitehill. Installed by the county's highways department, the pavement will link up Hogmoor Road and Station Road. Mr Carew said: "I am absolutely delighted that my campaign for a new footway along Hogmoor Road has been agreed. "This is first and foremost about safety. The new pavement will connect Hogmoor and Station Road, allowing residents to walk safely into town via Bordon rather than having to go via Firgrove Road and Whitehill and the crossroads roundabout before walking into Bordon town centre. "It also means there is no more need to walk along a fast road with no footway or across the tank and vehicle recovery training area on the Hogmoor Inclosure, which is what most people do than go all the way round via Whitehill."
