POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a doctors' surgery in Bordon.

The break-in occurred between 1am and 1.20am on Saturday, July 20, at the Forest Surgery, on Forest Road.

The two burglars forced their way into the building and stole cash.

They were described as men, of average height and build, and were wearing dark clothing with hoods or balaclavas covering their heads.

Pc Robin Reason, based at Alton police station, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have been driving by Forest Road during the early hours of Saturday morning and noticed two men acting suspiciously.

"They may have been wearing more layers than necessary for a very warm night."

Staff at the Forest Surgery did not wish to comment on the incident.

Anyone with information about the break-in should contact Pc Reason on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
