NHS chiefs have drawn up a charter for Bordon's Chase Com-munity Hospital, pro-mising a new integrated community-nursing and care service for East Hampshire.
But beds at the Bordon hospital and used to care for the elderly and infi-rm, look set to be transferred, by creating a partnership with a nursing-home operator designed to offer the service inst-ead.
Liphook GP Barbara Rushton, who chairs the South Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), said: "This charter is a pledge of our commitment to ensure The Chase has a long-term and sustainable future, providing services that local people say they want and need.
