LAST SUNDAY wasn’t a day of rest for Petersfield’s mayor as councillor JC Crissey spent the morning among churchgoers and cars.

Worshippers had plenty of praise for Cllr Crissey after he spoke to Life Church Petersfield about the town council and how it makes decisions on our behalf.

He also spoke about his role as leader during a Q&A session with a smaller group before rounding off by encouraging church members to get involved in civic life.

Cllr Crissey finished a busy morning by visiting the third and final CARRR boot sale of the summer at the Avenue playing fields.
