RESIDENTS of Bordon's Alma and Varna roads packed a Whitehill Town Council planning meeting on Monday to protest at a plan they say will leave their homes overshadowed by taller terraced houses, blocking their light and invading their privacy.

Protestors said they were worried about the plan to replace the Bordon Working Men's Club, in Alma Road, with a new three-story clubhouse and to build 21 terraced houses in its grounds.
