THE Coffee Pot cafe has re-opened at Bordon’s Prince Philip Barracks.

Previously located at Martinique House, the cafe, now at Mustangs in Budds Lane, offers hot and cold food and drinks, with breakfast served from 8am and lunch from noon.

At the new Coffee Pot fresh ingredients are used and cooking is done daily to order, with homemade cakes a speciality.

Mustangs is available for private hire, including for groups, community-information evenings, presentation events, conferences and children’s parties. Full catering is available for these events.

As well as its function facilities, Mustangs is also home to a range of other community activities and is used for fitness classes like Zumba, crafts and petanque and by the Anglican church. Mustangs recently hosted a jazz and wine evening and an Easter egg hunt.

Mustangs is located by the Garrison Swimming Pool, in Budds Lane, and has a large car-parking area next to it.

The Coffee Pot, which is located in the left side of the building, is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.

“The Coffee Pot is an important part of the local community, providing a great space for people to socialise, and we are delighted to see it open again,” said Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company.

“It is the perfect place to pop in for a coffee and cake, to catch up with friends or to re fuel after a trip to the swimming pool next door.”

The Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company is developing Prince Philip Barracks to provide a new town centre, 2,400 homes and two schools.
