A successful 90s charity disco was held at Forest Community Centre on Saturday, January 31, raising funds for Peer Talk, the town mayor’s chosen charity for 2025–26.
Music was provided by DJ Jack Trinder, who kept the dancefloor busy throughout the night.
Town Mayor Cllr Catherine Clark said: “It was wonderful to see so many people come together to support such an important cause. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the generosity of everyone attending was heartwarming.”
She also thanked WBCA manager Lindsay and the volunteers who made the night possible.
Peer Talk provides support for people living with depression, anxiety or emotional distress and meets every Tuesday from 7pm to 8.30pm at Whitehill Village Hall.
