DEVELOPER contributions of more than £50,000 have been agreed, benefiting several projects in the area.

Councillors at East Hampshire District Council’s cabinet agreed to the applications during Thursday’s (October 17) meeting.

The extension project at Whitehill Village Hall was awarded further funding under Section 106 of more than £50,000 to complete the storage extension.

A further application for more than £50,000 was granted by councillors for the Green Grid Green Loop Link in Whitehill and Bordon, subject to “conditions”.

It will be used to form a connection at the rear of the new Oakmoor School, set to open on November 11, to the rest of the loop link.

Headley Parish Council’s outline application, as an “expression of interest”, was approved, with the parish council having to apply again for the funding further down the line.

The money would be used as part of a project to modernise and improve the community and sports pavilion.
