EAST Hampshire District Council has given a town Scout group a boost with grant funding.
District councillor Mervyn Smith visited the 1st Blackmoor and Whitehill Scout Group, which meets at The Grange in Blackmoor, and presented Scouts with outdoor equipment.
The equipment was funded from the district council’s councillor grants scheme. Conservative Mr Smith was elected to the council to represent Whitehill Hogmoor ward in May 2015.
