A COUNCILLOR plans to "open a can of worms" when she gives evidence at a public inquiry looking into the refusal of the re-opening of Bridleway 54, linking Broxhead Common with Cradle Lane, Headley.

Maureen Comber plans to produce evidence, gleaned from documents dating back to 1632, showing that although Broxhead Common is privately owned, members of the public have a right to walk, or ride, across the whole of its 40 hectares.
