POLICE are appealing for information after a Headley dairy farm was burgled.

Raiders struck at Meadow Cottage Farm, on Churt Road, overnight between Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20.

Police said the offenders broke into a container in the yard and stole £1,000 of equipment, thought to be tools, including chainsaws.

Celia Haynes, from the farm, said the burglary followed just six weeks after six “extremely valuable” milk churns were stolen from the farm.

She said last week’s theft was the latest incident in a series of burglaries which had seen perpetrators “really rummaging around” for items to steal, with CCTV capturing them in the act.
