GREATHAM councillors have attacked district planners for what they allege is a failure to deal with an application by a gypsy family for a change of use of land at Fern Farm, Wolfmere Lane.

Applicant Daniel Shea wants to site two mobile homes and two caravans at the farm and the time for the district council to deal with the application had, according to Greatham councillors, now expired, having gone over the statutory eight weeks.
