Part of a key road which links Alton with the Meon Valley and Solent area will be closed for much of June for resurfacing.
Two sections of the A32 between the A31 Chawton roundabout and A272 West Meon crossroads will be closed for four weeks from this Sunday (June 8).
People south of Chawton will be seriously affected as the A32 will be closed from a point north of Kitcombe Lane in Lower Farringdon to Station Road in East Tisted.
A section south of the staggered Petersfield Road crossroads near Monkwood to the Fawley Lane junction will also be closed during the same period.
A mammoth diversion will be in place, with affected traffic being re-routed via the A31, A272 and A32.
