WORKERS had a helping paw at Bordon’s free co-working space.

A bring-your-dog-to-work day, on August 31, allowed entrepreneurs at Signal, at Martinique House in Hampshire Road, to enjoy the benefits a pet at work.

Signal’s founder Emma Selby said: “Running your own business can be stressful and lonely.

“At Signal we believe creating a community of business owners, who understand your challenges and appreciate your successes and frustrations, alleviates some of that pressure because you feel you have a team alongside you.

“Isolation and loneliness kills business ambition and creativity but having a dog at your feet as you work can make you feel better.

“It also forces you to take breaks and go outside as you look after their needs and don’t get lost in a never-ending to-do list.”
