WHITEHILL'S newest and youngest town councillor has spoken out about his ambitions for the town – and his concern about how the economic climate will afffect its future.

Liberal Democrat Andy Tree, 29, has been pushing the agenda of Whitehill and Bordon's future to the Secretary of State for Business Vince Cable and Local Government minister Don Foster.

Mr Tree has brought to their attention his concerns about the lack of economic regeneration in the town and a possible funding shortfall for the £1.9bn eco-town project.
