A BORDON Roman Catholic church and children's nursery are under threat of compulsory purchase to create the new eco-town, according to priest Father Eddie Richer and nursery owners Marion Cusworth and Bonny Clark.

Father Richer, priest at the Bordon Sacred Heart Church in the High Street, and the owners of Cygnets Day Nursery, in the church's grounds, said they were shocked to see on the masterplan, displayed at two recent public consultations, that their locations would be the site of the eco-town's transport hub.
