CELEBRATIONS have been under way following last Thursday's confirmation, by the Government, that Bordon will become one of four new eco-towns.

But the controversial plan - which would see up to 5,500 homes built in the town and 7,000 jobs created - has run into trouble just one week after being given the green light.
