Comedian Ed Byrne is appearing at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford on September 6, at the Princes Hall in Aldershot on September 24 and at Farnham Maltings on November 30.

His new show Tragedy Plus Time explores the definition of humour in a quote attributed to Mark Twain. Ed will test that formula by mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs.

Ed has appeared on QI, Mock The Week, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, The Pilgrimage, Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay, Dara and Ed’s Big Adventure, The Graham Norton Show and Have I Got News For You, and hosted Live At The Apollo and Comic Relief Bake Off.

He was a contestant on BBC1’s Celebrity Best Home Cook and won celebrity versions of The Chase and Pointless.

The hill walker and mountaineer has presented BBC2’s Volcano Live, World’s Most Dangerous Roads and Into The Wild with Gordon Buchanan.
