THE leader of East Hampshire District Council has confirmed that a proposal to freeze council tax will be put forward to cabinet members.
Ferris Cowper insists there is no need for East Hampshire District Council to increase its share of the council tax given its "very healthy finances".
Approval would be good news for residents, with Hampshire County Council also reiterating its desire to freeze its rates for a fourth year.
