EAST Hampshire District Council could be set for yet another challenge to its political leadership.
If current leader Ken Moon is ousted, he would be the fifth leader to suffer such a fate in five years on the Tory-ruled district council.
The latest bloodless coup at Penns Place in Petersfield comes after councillors apparently stuck the knives in well before carving the Christmas turkey.
Jennifer Gray, district councillor for Liss, and Richard Millard, district councillor for Headley, announced in December that they had resigned from the cabinet, the decision-making arm of East Hampshire District Council, due to "no longer supporting the leadership".
