WHEN all the 999 services come together to give displays of their work, it is one of the most spectacular shows around. The 999 Emergency Services Show - on Sunday in a field on the A325 near Bordon's Country Market - provided a fun day out for families and raised more than £2,000 for the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes. More than 2,000 people flocked to the show, organised by Paul Wingate, who lives in Bordon and is a member of Petersfield's ambulance crew. As always, he and his helpers had laid on a full programme of events giving all 999 services the chance to demonstrate what they do to serve the public. For full story, see this week's Bordon Herald.
