Churt Village Fete will return this Saturday from 2pm to 5pm at Churt Recreation Ground – promising an afternoon of good old fashioned family fun.

There will be many local craft stalls, plants and flowers, a dog show, country dancing by children at St John's school, Mill Cottage farm animals and music by Farnham Brass Band.

Refreshments will include a Pimm's stall, Meadow Cottage ice cream, tea and cakes by the WI, a bar and barbecue.

For children there is also a free obstacle course sponsored by Hindhead Golf Club, and families will be able to take part in sack, three-legged and human wheelbarrow races.

There will also be a bottle tombola, raffle and much more throughout the day. Churt recreation ground is found behind the village hall in Churt Road.
