SEANN Walsh has been confirmed as the comedy headliner for the Haslemere Fringe Festival.

He will lead the Haslemere Fringe comedy stage with his observational-style set which has seen him play the Edinburgh Festival a number of times and appear on stage around the UK and on TV and radio.

Joining Seann is QI regular Cally Beaton, who returns to the Haslemere Fringe bringing her natural storytelling style mixed with hilarious punchlines.

Her act is a rollercoaster ride of comic anecdotes and properly funny observations and her debut solo show Super Cally Fragile Lipstick was a sell-out hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving four-star reviews.

Also appearing is Jeff Innocent, winner of the 2021 Comedian of the Year and Comedy Club favourite, who enjoys a unique and legendary appeal thanks to the contrast between his East Ender “geezer” demeanour and appearance and the brainy delivery of a university boffin!

Haslemere Fringe Festival is a volunteer-led event supported by the BBC, SWR and many local businesses, schools and youth groups.

Held on Lion Green in the town, the three-day biennial event will run from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3. The Fringe attracts more than 10,000 visitors and features a number of stages with something for audiences of all ages celebrating fantastic live music – this year sees Sophie Ellis Bextor and The Feeling taking centre stage – plus comedy, dance and poetry.

At the event, the Festival Village showcases stalls staffed by local traders and artisans, as well as food and bars serving everything from Pimms, wine and local gin to craft beers and coffee.
