A Farnham woman on a mission to fund a cutting-edge Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre at the Royal Surrey in Guildford is inviting the public to show their support at a charity Christmas concert.
The Friends of Royal Surrey Charity, led by Farnham's Judith Storey, is organising A Positive Festive Note, an evening of lively seasonal musical performances at the Medici Theatre at Weydon School, Weydon Road, Farnham at 7pm for 7.30pm on Friday, December 8.
It will feature seasonal songs performed by The Royal Surrey Choir, Farnham and Bourne Choral Society, Harmonix and Weydon School.
Mrs Storey, a former mayoress of Waverley, said: “Thank you to the wonderful local choirs who are supporting this event, which is set to be a fantastic evening filled with lots of firm favourites.
"We have lots of raffle prizes which have kindly been donated by local businesses and restaurants. We hope you’ll come along to show your support and help raise vital funds for this project, which will benefit thousands of people across the South East.”
